Away travel

Gateshead game the most successful yet, with 3 full buses generating over £3700 in sales and £1090 in profit.

75% of bookings were non-members. Thanks to BA for helping out

To date, all buses have made a profit of at least £40, with a total profit of over £1400.

Two buses booked for Rochdale, with 33 booked and 69 seats remaining – before tickets go on sale.

The ticket office will include a link to our travel page on the website. We also hope to have an advert on the perimeter boards for the York game.

If all seats are sold, it’ll generate a profit of around £200

We are planning to run buses to Hartlepool, Halifax and Morecambe.

Irvings very happy with us, very pleased they took a chance on us.

They have said their drivers would be happy to steward a bus themselves if necessary as we’ve ‘proved ourselves’

We continue to have a really good mix of passengers – families, old/young etc. and have a small but growing band of regulars who have booked more than once.

All feedback up to now has been positive.

CW In terms of advertising are we paying for it?

MS We should spend some money on advertising, maybe tie it to Irvings?

CW The Bugle is sponsored by the trust, but has the link been put up for away travel. Can we ask RT to get the QR code put up around the screens at the club

Hospitality

CW & SJ Next 3 games are drawn

MS to take the photos of the recipients for the next couple of home games

No draw for the junior members

SJ to keep up with shirt sizes as we head to the end of season. We need to look at something for junior members when they win the shirt, maybe something in the newsletter.

Email Procedure

Financial/Cash in the bank

Bank is £13627.74 (Ringfenced £448 Defibs £2100 Audit fees – there will also be some coach money to set aside)

CW Members will need to have the final accounts and have them filed!

MS the question will be raised regarding the lateness of the accounts, we need to take some ownership of this.

We need a decision of when the end of year actually is!

CUSG Update

Any email coming to the trust regarding CUSG should go through CW. The latest CUSG meeting minutes from 9th of Jan https://www.carlisleunited.co.uk/news/minutes-january-cusg-meeting-0

Note: The collaboration with the Northwest Ambulance NC stated this event was a trust event

AOB

DMwe will soon have a new gazebo for the fanzone, which will be more robust

DM does anybody have any objections to purchasing a new sign

MS nothing against that, it should be a mesh type for the wind etc.

RP also get a second one to go onto the back of the gazebo

MS I don’t think there will be any distortion

SJ where are we with getting a permanent structure?
