The meeting got an update on preparations for the re-branding of the Trust. Chris was putting finishing touches to the new website, Ross was developing a style/colour guide for official Trust communications and Dan was preparing new social media addresses/graphics.
Matt as 1921 rep had updated the board on the latest 1921 developments. Work was beginning on the first phase of upgrading the Sheepmount. The club was preparing a statement to cover recent unrest in the country, and to act as a rallying cry for the start of the new season.
Ideas were discussed for items that can be sold in the CUOSC online shop, which will be embedded on the new site.
Plans for next weekend’s members’ meeting in Foxy’s were discussed. Tickets would go on sale in a few days. The Piatak family would be in attendance.
Membership had fallen by about 300 after the expiration of most existing memberships on July 31. However it was still over 1,000 with new members joining regularly. Bank balance was £11,558.80
There had been good interest in the CUOSC volunteer days at Brunton Park which would be held on August 19 and 20. The club had a list of jobs that needed doing.
