Work was underway to re-launch CUOSC as the Carlisle United Supporters’ Trust (CUST). Work on finalising the new logo and a revamped website at cust.org.uk was to be completed before the new name was adopted. Martin, Mike and Chris were assigned the job of re-working the website.
A new mission statement would be issued to coincide with the re-launch, which Claire and Matt were working on.
A new pricing structure for membership was also agreed and is being finalised, ready for re-launch.
Matt reported that work on the Sheepmount was due to start soon with the council’s consultation period about to end. Initial work would prepare two pitches for the first team to train on, starting in the autumn. The second phase of work would see the Sheepmount transformed into the club’s training centre and academy headquarters.
The bank balance stood at £10,029 with over 1,380 members. A date for the next members’ meeting would be confirmed soon, along with the venue.
Dan reported that over 450 had signed up for our new Whatsapp channel. Over 2,800 were now following us on twitter/X with 2,100 Facebook followers. Our recently re-launched Instagram account had acquired 275 followers so far.
Plans were being discussed to give us a presence in the Fan Zone for next season. It was expected that this would commence early in the season.
