Carlisle United Supporters Trust Launches Fundraising Campaign to Purchase Defibrillators for Brunton Park
CUST are teaming up with St John Ambulance to help fundraise to place defibrillators within and outside Brunton Park. Each Defibrillator and a secure cabinet costs around £1,700 meaning we have a target of around £7,000 to make Brunton Park a safe environment.
Whilst one defibrillator is already in place at the far end of the West side of the ground. St John Ambulance have advised that we place a second in the West Stand, two within the East Stand concourse, one each for both Home and Away supporters, with the final being placed next to the club shop. This will ensure Brunton Park is one of the safest grounds for fans to visit.
CUST are delighted to confirm that we will be donating the cost of the first defibrillator machine and the secure, heated cabinet meaning our new target is around £5,500. In addition, CUST will cover the installation of all cabinets (cabinets are required to be temperature controlled and therefore connected to a mains power supply), all maintenance checks and the replacement of pads and batteries when required.

Steve Goodger, a life-long United fan and member of St John Ambulance originally approached CUST asking for our support.
CUST are delighted to support this initiative and have agreed to fund the purchase of the first of these four defibrillators.

Carlisle United Football Club welcome this initiative and are happy for this life saving equipment to be installed at the Brunton Park.
