Matt advised that the completion of the East Stand hospitality areas was imminent and should be in place for the Harrogate home game. A club open day was coming up at the end of the month, to be held in conjunction with Tullie House and the Backing the Blues exhibition. Work was ongoing at the Sheepmount to create two upgraded pitches on the upper plateau. The grass was being removed this week with levelling work to follow.
We were planning to survey lapsed members to see why they hadn’t renewed this year. All this information would be fed back to help improve member retention in future years.
The meeting considered a date for the AGM this year. A date of Sunday December 1 was provisionally agreed, pending confirmation of venue and start time.
The bank balance stood at £12,218.94 with membership at 1,141.
We will once again be involved with the upcoming food bank collection. We were planning to take online donations as part of this initiative – details to come.
The draw for the latest junior members’ signed shirt was made, with the winner being Claudia Caton.
Date of next meeting to be confirmed.
