Matt updated the meeting on club matters, including the process to appoint a new head coach. Mike Williamson was appointed to the position the day after the meeting took place, bringing coaches Ian Watson, Carl Magnay and Chris Bell with him from MK Dons. Work had started on the initial phase of upgrading the Sheepmount for use as the club’s new training centre. Takings in hospitality and in both fan zones are up year on year, with another big screen on order for the Warwick Road End fan zone. More property was being acquired on Warwick Road to help ‘open up’ the two fan zones.

The board put on record their thanks to Matt as 1921 Rep for his contribution to the process of appointing a new head coach.

We had good feedback from the Trust members who had won a boardroom matchday experience so far this season. This would all go to improving the experience in the coming months. During the meeting Dan conducted draws for the next three home games as well as draws for junior members to win a signed CUFC shirt.

We had been happy with the members meeting held last month, which the Piatak family had attended. Tom Snr had spoken at length to all those present. Over 100 had watched the event on the live stream. More discussions and consultation with members are planned before firming up details on further meetings.

The online shop on our revamped website would be fully launched as soon as possible. Already there had been good numbers of plaques and pin badges sold.

The bank balance stood at £11,802.27 with 1,131 members.
